Help connecting my 7600!

Hi everyone, I need you help! Yesterday I just bought myself a Nokia 7600 on 3 Pay As You Go, now I bought this phone for a number of reasons, but the main reason is because I can use my PC to mess around with it, but I’m having problems. I installed the Nokia 7600 CD rom, I then used the wire that came with the phone, and plugged it into the USB port and into the phone. The computer recognised the Nokia 7600 and then asked me to install the drivers for it, but everything I try it won’t install it, could someone please tell what I am going wrong, or could someone please point me in the direction of the driver for downloading.

Hears straing thing. Probably you don´t do anything wrong if you follow instructions. Maybe you should re-install Nokias softwarwe and then install it again and try again. Hard to say, but only tip what i can give.

Isn't it one of "two part" phones? I mean: Nokia 3300, 5510, N-Gage were sold with the cables as well and they had MP3, but those cables couldn't be used for data synchronization because POP port is not anyhow physically connected with the phone section and you can only manage MMC cards (DKU-2 and DKU-5 cables) and MP3 files (DKU-2 cable) using standard POP port.
May be that is the reason? It is one more such a phone?

i want to ask guy if you managed to conect your phone to the computer??? couse i bought this phone yesterday, and i installed everything, and tnasfared data both from the computer to the phone, and from the phone to the computer. BUT today, when i conected my phone to the computer there was no data to see, i mean, the file where should be for example photos was empty, and so were all the other files (music, pictures and stuff)
so can you help me with some advice what can i do, please?

Pop-port can acces the phonedata with the proper software and can acces the MMC-card... like nokia PC suite or Oxygen phone manager.
the 5510 doens't have pop port...

pc suit must be installed...and...if cable is unable to transfer anything...use infrared...
