Do any of you guys have the nokia 3200 yet?
What do you think about it?
Thanks!
It's hard to describe, but it lights up well when I turn it on in a dark room.
It lights up more than I first thought it would.
It's like a very small maglite.
I haven't tested that.

I dont have the fone myself THANK GOD, but i have had the misfortune of doing a mini presentation of it for a few work mates.
Bear in mind that i have to big this phone up to these people even though it's awful.
The camera on it once again is pointless not only is the picture quality so crap you will never use it the phone it'self is just flawed by design.
For sum unknown reason they have made every one physical button work as two buttons (ie Number 1 & Number 4 are physically one button but obviously have two functions) This makes it impossible to pick up and text, without really being carefull not to press the wrong button.
Another feature as reagards the design of the phone is the see through covers which allow you to insert pictures so that you can "totaly personalise" your handset. Nice idea for 10-11yrs olds but when the phone retails at 250gbp sim free i think it will take a while for the kids to save there pocket money, and anyway the last phone to have that feature was the panasonic gd67 what a great seller that was.
On the plus side it is a camera phone that has the same scree res and picture quality as the 7250i at about 50gbp cheaper on contract may be an alternative to someone looking for the 7250i but cant afford it.
Also the addition of recordable ring tones can be fairly amusing when you steal a mates phone scream sum bad words into it, set it as a ring tone then phone him when in the cinema.(please note he will probley only fall for this once)
The only people who will buy this phone are tired old "i have always had a nokia" people who will never change, my opinion buy a SE T610 better cam better screen res.
Please note i dont hate nokias like sum people on this forum i just don't like the way since there first colour screen phone 7210 they haven't changed it same phone different case do somthing orginal sumthing ground breaking God dammit go on Nokia u know u want to.

Actually the 2 buttons keypad won't cause any problem and it is not hard for typing, I have N7250 and I still can type fast...
Out there many phones are much better than N3200, LCD 64K, VGA cam, better connectivity options, nicer design wise, etc...
What a money waste to buy N3200, better choose other brand phones which worth more...

I have gotten a nokia 3200 by now, and I'm very pleased with it.
The phone feels solid, and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it.
I went from a nokia 3650, and I don't look back.
The phone feels very well built, and I'm sure this phone can handle a lot of accidents.
I was a bit sceptical at first, but I like the keypad very much, and the buttons gives very good response, actually the best buttons since the good old nokia 5110.
And talking about the design, I must say that I like it a lot.
The design is very nice, and people that have tested my phone thinks the same.
I would recommend to test it out for real before saying things like "it's so ugly!"
But of course, people have their own appinions about design.
It has 1,1mb memory, which is enough for over 50 pictures taken with highest quality, or over 100 taken with the same res, but with lower quality.
That's more than enough for me.
I can fully recommend the nokia 3200 to others! ++
BTW, sorry for the bad english.

I have had the nokia 3200 for some days now, and I am VERY pleased with it, everything works, and the phone is very solid and well built.

I'm thinking about changing my sharp gx 20 for one 3200 and one 3650. You may think I'm doing wrong but I simply don't like to use the sharp. Yeah, sure... it has averything, video camera, flash, deabtiful screen and camera resolution... but, hey, have you tried to write a simple SMS?? The writing is like most nokias, but the sending? I mean, you have to press ok like 5 times. Geez, in a normal nokia you press the green key twice and here it goes.
Now, Dennis88, what do you think of the 3200 for taking pictures? You have had the 3650, is the quality more or less the same? Or the 3200 is really bad?
Does it have a zoom? Does it work nice?
What about the hands free? is it audible? or just like poor 7650?
Thank you.

I'm still very happy with the phone, so you should buy it.
The pictures is not as good as the pictures taken with the 3650 if you see it on the computer, but on the mobile display, I can't see any difference, and the quality is not bad at all, in fact pretty good.
The handsfree function works very well and I'm very happy with it.
You can zoom in on pictuers after you have taken the picture, and you can also edit them in the picture editor, and rezize them, put templates in and stuff.
It's a really cool phone, and I haven't even mentioned the flashlight.
