Nokia 6230 or Nokia 7600

Betweem these 2 phones the Nokia 6230 and Nokia 7600 which one do you think is best.

The 6230 has a few better features, and also the 7600 is a 3G fone! It goin to b released on 3G here in the UK

I would think the 6230... ive seen the preview model & it aint bad at all!!! The only bad thing is its screen... It is very small, and not very bright, and also the changable covers have reduced the overall quality of the 6230! But ne way, I would say the 6230!

Thanks for all the advice, just one last thing if anyone one has seen the preview model just wondering how good is the video and camera quality on the 6230 as I don't want to end up buying it when it comes out and having crap quality.

I've seen the preview model!

The Video and Cam quality is quite gd! It didn't impress me that much though, cause of that tiny screen. The pics very high quality once u upload them to pc, but when u view them on the fone, they don't look as gd as the 6600. This because the display of the 6230 is small & has very low resolution, while the 6600 has a much bigger display and high resolution!

The Video recording however has imporved compared to the latest nokias now!

I've seen on an American site that the 7600 is going to cost $899 and the 6230 $599, could this be right?? Why would the 7600 be so expensive, cos its 3G as well? Just doesnt make sense!

shipments on ebay r already in for 7600 they r only about $750 so i dont think the american site would be rite

I wouldn't say it has many more features than 7600. 7600 has also mp3 player. There's some things that it doesn't have like MIDP 2.0 and expandable memory. But on the other hand, it has higher data transfer rates and bigger screen...

I didn't see any great features on the 7600....just its design is unique....and 3G?....it cost too too too expensive....!!!!

It doesn't use Symbian, but it has Java MIDP 2.0, so you can install 3rd party software in it.

6650 is about 2 years old and its very big its classified as a 3G fone but u still cant make video calls so i dont classify it as 3G but its wcdma so u can still receive data up to 384 kbps...

Oh true. Well I hope we get flashy looking 3G phones one day. Vodafone will probably start building their 3G network here this year, in the main centres at least, eventually rolling it out to the whole country.

3G phones of the WCDMA variety can achieve packet data speeds of up to 384kbps, and circuit-switched data speeds of up to 64kbps.
