What a STUPID logic. You are comparing picture here not absolute value. Your equal such as 6230 = 7200 is subjective and that makes your deduction 6230 > 6600 a joke.
The only way to compare is to put 2 pictures taken (using same parameters) with the 2 phones side by side.
These pics only prove that 6600 has better white balance (better SW) - you get more details
The other one has contrast setting higher which subjectively looks like slightly sharper image, but actual useful information is less there
That's what I was talking about...
Gamma correction (artificial "light") and oversaturation artefacts... but it makes pictures look "better"... who cares about distorted colors if they are bright.
Side note: You can make picture taken with 6600 look like 6230 by editing those in Photoshop or similar, but you need a miracle to do the opposite

I think the image is too pale, wasn't too good in my opinion... 
I have seen images taken by N7600, looks to me it has a better quality in sharpness and color saturation...

I was trying to upload the photo taken by 6600 at the similar angle but it is too big in file size...can't upload...
I compare boths photo...photo taken by 6230 wins in clearity...and the photo taken by 6600 is much much blurer than 6230...but 6600 wins in photo colour sharpness...
for me...I prefer a much clearer photo...

how many megapixels are these cameras (6600, 6230)? I thought the cameras on these two phones were exactly the same....?????
Anyways, I have found the 6600 camera to be very disappointing. The Samsung e700 is much better in normal conditions. The nokia does win in nite mode though, although i get a lot of coloured dots on the screen....is that just me or does everyone get that??

Both N6600 & N6230 are VGA cam quality, only 300K resolution, hasn't reached to MP...
The champ of cam phone is still SHARP, no competition yet for this area... Screen quality is also the best, equal to its brand "SHARP"...

and please, i don't want anyone saying 6600 is actually better but its resolutions too high. because if you're not lazy, and you actually stretch the 7200 photo pic to the 6600 size, its still brighter and richer.

well the 6230 camera is not all tht good as u guys may think it is .
i have been using it and i must say , the camera bcomes really bad at dark places. i can see alot of dots and noice on the camera when its dark unlike the 6600

i don't know why people like to compare 6230 with 6600,which are used the VGA camera with CMOS and i think their quality of taken pic are similar and satisfied.
if you want a much better camera phone, then go for Sharp GX22 or GX32.
