You seem to know a fair bit about this phone. I was hoping you could answer a few q's for me. I have read many of Dubaiboy's posts and it has not helped.

No offence to Dubaiboy (espec if you are reading this) but he has been infatuated with the phone even after comparison to 7250i and 6600. Then he says it is no good and does not leave explanation.

You yourself (Tu!@ng Man) have said many a friends have regretted buying the phone yet I have not seen the reasons for it. Sure you mentioned the screen once in a while but I was hoping you could enlighten me and elaborate a little more.

I have added to this thread not to take it over mind you as I do have a related question to this thread as well. It is said that the thumbnail pic memory is not recovered when deleted. What I am wondering is:

a) Does the contact have a specified memory address? Perhaps the memory comes back when contact is deleted or a new thumbnail is attached? Maybe the picture is stored elsewhere and the attached thumbnail pic is just a soft link.

b) This is a serious bug. Surely we can petition Nokia to have it fixed / replaced for free. Are there any other bugs that you know of from the multitudes of friends you have who bought the phone and dislike it? Annoyances even?

c) Why does your friend want to burn his phone and why exactly are you not recommending the phone?

Cheers

I dunno anything about memory address or whatever...just one of my friend who is selling handphone...he told me that a lot people coming bak to his shop and ask for trading in the 3200...and also many 3200 owner go back to his shop and ask for the memory problem due to the caller thumbnails...so far no solution for this bug...the memory consider dissppear...

when first sight...a lot of people will be attracted by its features and low price...why my friend who owns the 3200 wish to burn it?...

first of all...the design...ugly...casing goes loosen very easily...casing scretched very very seriously and easily...

second...the keypad...it is a nightmare for pressing the button...especially when typinf sms...pressing mistake all the time...

third....bad camera...bad screen...this need not to mention too much...

fourth...lacked of memory...just 1MB...and even only half of the memory is used for camera...my friend install some java app into the 3200...when memory has been used to quite a large amount...the camera won't function anymore due to the reason "not enough memory" given...

fifth...memory disappear...need not mention anymore...

sixth...not stable firmware...get restarted and hang very often...

seventh...ringtones quality is very bad...although it is 16chord...but the sound quality even worse than the 4chord 6610...and many .mid files are unable to be played due to unknown error...

ok...tell u more next time...

True, True, i have this phone for a review now, the keypad sucks as well as the screen. The camera is outdated with only CIF resolutions but the pictures are sharp, better as the T610/T630. The last one has interpolated VGA resolution from CIF which even sucks more. If you want a T630 (i can come up with some good reasons ) take you pictures in CIF format or resize them to the original CIF size.

However....with suck a low price...just need not to aspet too much on the phone...the 3200 quality is just similar or a little bit worse than other series40 low end phones...
