English review of 6230 on this site!
Nokia 6600 Problem ?
After waiting for ages for my 6600 I received it and it had a very tinny and rattley speaker in the earpiece I have sent it back to be exchanged But i was wondering if it was a common fault has anyone else had this ? Apart from that i was very happy with the phones features and it is not as big as i thought just a bit fat ! __________________ i just got my n6600 and speaker works ok,my problem is i can't use the MMS feature that's why i am very disappointed. iam in Los Angeles,CA. Vodafone's MMS Service is down at the mo...  There r difficulties sendin MMS from a Vodafone handset to another... especially to Orange!!! lolIts not the 6600, the 6600 is very new too, so the network providers do not hav much experience with the fones themselves, so that is the cause of limited support! About to buy a 6600...
Hello, I'm about to buy a Nokia 6600 phone, based from your forums, there are a lot of bugs/cons about the phone... I've already owned a 7650, and i'm currently using a 3650.. the price of the 6600 here is 25,000PhP (1 USD = 55PhP). I wonder if any network operators in Indonesia has support it...  __________________ I'm using it and it's great love the phone.... be warned the upgrade is not signifigant at all... the screen is nice and the added ram was much needed.. uses wap 2.0 so peopel have been having problems.. no major bugs to date... only thing is the software is slower dont know why.. i'm using a 6600 (light grey) +256 mmc with 11 n-gage games about 15 mp3's and a 15-20 other apps and games. |

Well apparently they had this thing every year but i just came across it this yr, the website, www.nokiagame.com , holds this thing where u register with them. you are then supposed to play a few games over 8 - 9 days and try to get the max points. If you turn up in the top 50 in ur country , u win an Ngage. And it is geniune nokia site, i have even recieved a call from them asking where should the ngage be shipped. nyone tried out for this as well, coz i live in kuwait, it is a small country and hence i dint face immense competition. altho nokiagame is not available in all countries!!! __________________ I thought people in Kuwait usually get excited about winning S classes but ok. 3410 vs 2100
My sister wants a budget phone. The only features she'll need are SMS and phonecalls. She apparently doesn't want polyphonic. Mostly everyone in her school has a 3410, and wouldn't mind either if shes like everyone else. Or, she can get the 2100, which one is better? __________________ i like the 3410 more (more names in phonebook,wap,better battery,more games etc..., true it's bigger and heavier, but from waht it sounds that wont matter) __________________ 3410 just looks like the 3315 to me (which is very popular here). A 2100 is pretty rare here, I don't know about over there, but she may dare to be different BTW Kelmie, what do the providers over in the UK charge for SMSing, etc? __________________ Edge It depends on different operators really, but the standard prices of SMS is 10p. MMS is as high as 35p but I think I've seen it as low as 20p. Phonecalls are different for each of the operators and some deals really suck, such as T-Mobile, which is 30p at ALL times on pay as you go. Virgin Mobile is my view is the best one for pay as you go, which is 15p a minute for the first 5 mins then 5p afterwards. __________________ 10p would be how many cents do u think on optus my network SMS is 25c MMS is 75c (its free until the end of january but 75c is the normal charge) calls cost 37c for 30 seconds plus flagfall of 16.5 cents __________________ 2100 , I guarantee you no bugs at all.. design is much better than 3410 __________________ 10p probably = $NZ7 000.... There's a provider here that charges $10 per month flat rate texting...altho the jury is out as to how long that'll last for. Do they do anything like that over there? I have tried try out the phone.... the phone is quiet a compact size... the screen also different from the n7650, n3650... but the navigation key (direction key) somehow difficult to use... need time to get use to it.... __________________ and? can you write a small review? Is the keypath easy to use? |
