Locking and Unlocking

I often see the phase "Locking Phone" and Unlocking Phone" in most of the mobile forum, but till today I got no clue at all what that is? Is the locking and unlocking stuff available in Asian country such as Malaysia? ThankS! __________________ If a phone is locked it means it cannot be used with any simcard except the one t is locked to __________________ So what's the purpose of locking a phone? In order to use we have to unlock it? __________________ if you buy a mobile phone, you can buy it with a contract of a mobile operator, with a plan or pre-paid version... so the phone gets cheaper, but you are stuck to that operator. It's just that the operator is sure that the phone can't be used with an other operator. + cheap phones - no other networks alowed and you have a bad plan (contract mostly) to unlock it you just have to press a code... published here before several times... __________________ just find DCT 4 unlocking codes very easy to find

3210 was good 3310 was very good 3330 same as 3310 3410 was ok 3510 same as 3410 with poly tones, and bigger! 3510i crap, heavy and huge What is the replacement, it can't be 3610 as its allready out there!, is this the last of the 33xx cheapy models.. __________________ 3100... __________________ i also sugest the 3100, if you don't need colorscreen etc the 2300... if you wan't an mp3 compatible buy the 3300, and if you can wait, i think the best mobile phone this 1st q will be the 5130, very nice...

Hi. My father has a work phone (nokia 6310i) and a nokia Bluetooth Headset HDW-2. Somehow he got the headset erased from the phone, and can't remember the password? The manual is at the office.
