Im thinking about getting the Nokia HS-3W for my 6600. Is there anything else out there better? Has anyone used this headset that can give a good review? I heard that the actual handset doesnt ring when a bluetooth headset is connected. Is this the same for all headsets or just the HS-3W. One last question. The 6600 can play mp3s by installing software (x-ultramp3) on it. Will the mp3s be heard through the bluetooth headset? If so, how long is the battery life? __________________ i best headset i have used is a one by JABRA it has good talk time as well as stand by time mp3s should be heard through the headset __________________ I think price quality Jarba is indeed a good brand... I use Plantronics headset and i'm very pleased about that.. good quality of sound and speaker, but sometimes a little noisy... Mavi forum |

N-gage Game
Just wanna find out whether this kind of game can runs on any sybiam OS based phone or only nokia phone? Since it is origin developed for the n-gage, however still we can play it in 6600 too. __________________ N-gage game can be played on 6600...just install a third party application call BLZ installer(not sure about the name) to your 6600...then u will be able to install N-gage games to your 6600...enjoy yourself... __________________ Just want to know what are the requirements / specs in order to play n-gage game? Is it a symbian OS is what it need? Further more what's the different between 6600 and 3660 in softawre terms? Can 3660 play n-gage game too? __________________ firstmobile there is no difference between the 6600 & 3660 in software terms. both run on the same symbian os version. n-gage games can be played on the 3660 with the help of the same software __________________ So the main requirement is a Symbian OS and the BLZ? Now I'm wondering if these n-gage game can be play on other brand of phone provided that the phone is running a Symbian OS too? __________________ 6600 is Symbian OS 7....3660 is just Symbian OS 6.1.....basically there are the same...but just some minor different...dun think that there are the same...but aspect that there are the same...hehe... Theoritically with Symbian OS and BLZ would be able to play N-gage game...however...if I am not mistaken...BLZ installer is just compatible with 6600...so...although u have another brand with Symbian OS...u may not be able to install N-gage game on it... Go for 6600 Symbian...you will regret buying other symbian phone... __________________ I have however aimed for 6600 but the reason I'm having second thought is the following question "If 3660 and 6600 is more of less the same, why don't you go for 3660 instead as the price of 3660 is much more cheaper than 6600?" "6600 have a very soft volume, do you think you can hear whenever it rings?" "Will 6620 be available in msia?" __________________ 3660 sucks whats the difference between 6620 and 6600??? Mavi forum |

6600 or 6820? Please HELP!
Which fone is better the 6600 or 6820? Please give me advice i have cheked reviews and both fones are EXCELLENT but the camra on the 6820 is said to be not that good? is the camra quality of the 6820 good? and is the video quality good? Please help me! Jav __________________ for what do you wanna use the phone? The 6600 is a smartphone based on Symbian with Series 60 user interface, basicly means you can do more with you applications and interface, you can install real symbian programs but also Java. minus due to the Symbian is the problem of speed, the 6820 is much faster, althow most users won't notice it... the screen of the 6600 is big and 65K colors and that explance a lot about the quality of pictures showed on the screen, beter colors bigger picture (compare a small photo with a bigger one, the bigger version will be better) and that also explanes the camera, the camera is almost the same, it's just the screen that show you some differences.. althow with the 6600 you can just do a little bit more... The 6820 is a basic series 40 phone (like most Nokia devices (6100 - 5140 - 3100 - 7200 - ...)) what is very handy is that the 6820 has a full keyboard so very easy to sms and e-mail with, that is what this device is meant to... for movies/pictures is the 6600 much better than the 6820 but for E-mail, sms is this the best... __________________ thanks alot for that info mate, i want the fone mainly for camra and video recording aswell as good functions i wish to go for look aswell. The 6820 looks stylish but the 6600 looks abit big. and i dont like the comfort of the keyboard wen sending sms messages. So the quality is good for the 6820? __________________ 6600 is a symbian phone...just similar to a small pc...it is different in using a symbian phone compare to a normal GSM phone...if u wan a simple to use, less problem phone...go for 6820 or other series 40 phones...or wait for the 6230... If u buy 6600...a lot of extra applications u can install to your phone...a lot of extra features...but...at the same time u will be facing a lot of problems that u have to solve by yourself(By refrencing through the profesional 6600 forum)... Think twice before u buy...any questions else just ask here...I would try my best to help since I am using 6600 too... __________________ Thanks mate! yeh ive heard that the 6600 is a complicated fone. The only thing i dont like about it is that its abit big and i dont feel comfortable using the keyboard. I wanted to know is the 6820 camra quality any good? ive heard from reviews that it isnt that good. please let me know! Thanks __________________ the photo taken by N6820 is CIF quality only... compare to N6600, it is taken by VGA quality and the image is much clearer then the N6820 __________________ I had my 6600 for around exactly one week. That was what my nerves could bare.. The slowness of the user interface, all the Bluetooth problems, were more than I would contend with.. If you want good pictures and video, go for 6600.. If you want a good phone (with a very small screen), go for 6820.. __________________ Go for what my friend Hjorten just said. __________________ What kind of bluetooth problems did you have with the 6600? Id get 6600....which I just did __________________ ya...there are too much problems in 6600...but I just keep on trying to solve them by viewing 6600 profesional forum...I feel that I did well...most of them can be solved...dun take 6600 as a normal GSM phone...it is kinda small pc...sure there are problems...just it is Symbian OS but not Windows XP....though just look through the forum or posted the problems here...many of us can help...take it easy...6820 camera is really BAD!!! __________________ hey thanks people, well ive gone for the 6820 and i got it today!!! and i love the fone, the QWERTY keypad is great and its small aswell, features am gr8, The camra quality isnt as bad as i expected its decent near enough the same as the 7250i! And the video recordin quality is ok aswell. Thumbs up for the 6820.. btw has the fone got BLUETOOTH??? __________________ As far as I can recall, no... ![]() __________________ What is the limit of voice record of the 6820? __________________ uhh... yes it does have bluetooth... __________________ go with the 6820. Nokia 3100 data cable
Where is the best place to buy the Nokia USB data cable DKU-5, to use the PC Suite from Nokia. Most of the websites I have looked at in the UK charge about £30, but they can be shipped from Hong Kong on Ebay for £7 - has anyone bought the cable from Ebay and does it include the driver software? Nokia 6310i casing/covers..?!
Can anyone tell me where to find the ORIGINAL covers (back and front), used by the Nokia 6310i. They are the same then the 6310, but different from the 6210. Had one before, but as it was a copy (even though it was in a Nokia package) it fitted quite badly and I had to put the old one (scratched) back. If over the counter (London) even better, however a little complacent on spending GBP 30.00 as charged by Carphonewarehouse (Baker Street)... ??! __________________ nokia doesn't have covers for the 6310(i), you'll have to buy from associated partners or Nokia OK label... __________________ Whats 'Nokia OK'...? __________________ A label giving by Nokia to assure you from the quality and compatibiliti of a product, nOKia 'tested' the product (enhancement) and aproved it to be save... Nokia also doesn't make every cover by themselve so when they don't do it, they can give another brand the cooperation to make the covers for Nokia... Soon they going to start with something alike but for Battery's... (because safety issues) __________________ try ebay ........... __________________ There are Nokia covers, of course! They might be out of stock since the model is discontinued, but i have bougth plenty of Nokia spares at my local repair shop, (among them a front cover for a 6310i) and they do not offer "pirated" parts..
