You gotta think... How old is that picture? 6600 vs 3660
What's the different between these 2 phone beside it's series and design? To me it seems like both have similar feature but 3660 is more advance than 6600 as it is released later than 6600. I know that 6600 can support mp3 format and the best part is 6600 can assign mp3 as ringtones too, can 3660 do so? What's the main different between these 2? Thanks in advance! __________________ qua battery is the 6600 is a little better than the 3660. for memory (storable) you've got 3,4 Mb and 16 Mb, and 1,4 Mb RAM for the 3660 and 6 Mb and 32 Mb and 3Mb RAM for the 6600. in the 3660 you've get some more games (due to the divice is ment for young people) but no support of TCP/ip, witch is the internet protocol. Wen you send the mp3 to the phone the nokia PC suite converts the mp3's to wav files (which have better compression - smaller file size). When the mp3 (wav) is played it plays out of the loudspeaker, so you dont even have to purchase a handsfree kit to listen to them (i read in a review that through a handsfree kit was the only way to listen to them, this is not true, the 6600's speaker plays, quality of mp3's are good too! And also games and emulators for other devices like GameBoy, NES, MGS and N-Gage. I think that this is ilegal, but it exists. The difference is that 6600 have more RAM memory than 3660 and it can play 3D games that 3660 don't. Both can play mp3 with an 3rd party's apps and put real sounds as ringtones. You can convert easily mp3 songs in your pc to compressed WAV with the PC-Suite. It compresses really good (27second WAV file in my 3650: 248kB). Yes, you can put your own voice as ringtone, if you want... It isn't very cool in a mono speaker xD. No Symbian viruses are known at this moment. You can download free trial versions and purchase full versions in some webs like mysymbian.com. NOKIA 7600 ... The best Ever Camera in the Mobile Phones (pic included)
last week i bought a Nokia 7600 and i came back home and suddenly shocked that the phone aint working on iranian network !  though it showed the service provider's name but i couldnt make any phone calls , so i had to gave it back to the shop and feel dissapointed about it...anyway, i bought it for $550 and the phone was much lookin better when i first saw its pictures in the internet... it was kinda strange but with no doubts i have to say it was really classy... it was in light brown colour and it had a leather strap in the package for carrying it... the menu system was different to other nokia phones, infact it's menu structure was like nokia 6600, but the icons were different,... the ring tones were ok but not that loud, the mp3 player was awsome and 29mb memory was enough for 700 high quality pictures to take with, the phone was easy in your palm and u would surprise how fit it is... though the meny was easy to browse but the icon's designs were not exciting and they were rather boring ... the quality of the screen was really good and as good as n6600, but the other options were like nokia 7250 (like the extra-menu) but as a good point u could see a touch of improvement in each and every menu on the interface menu system ... and it could film 15sec video clips too and having a bluethooth and improved Ir-Da port were very useful indeed that u finally could send pics to ur pc without that problems that u would have with nokia 7250.... but about the installin programs, i have to say... .sis games were not working on it at all and nokia 6600 java games were too big to fit its in screen to play, and also nokia 7250's java games were to small on the screen, then i checked SE's t630 games on it and the size of the screen was fit for on the display. but now lets head into the CAMERA option... the camera surprised me very very much.. i decided to take pictures and after i took pictures i noticed the quality of pictures were ok but nothing special... infact they were much better than n7250 coz the camera's viewfinder size was at the same as 7250, but still it was in a much lower quality than n6600 ...then i decided to send the pictures to my pc to check them... and gosh..i saw the pictures and i was almost dead at that time... it has the best ever quality i ever saw in a camera'mobile... a million times better than n6600 or e700... some of the pictures were even 120kb and all were in awsome quality that u could easily print them... i wonder what camera lens they used for 7600, becoz its totally aswome and its quality i very near to digital cameras... well.. though the camera was awsome..but i had to gave back the shop becoz it wont work on the iranian system (donno why) and i only managed to have it for 3days.... i would be happy i can answer any of ur questions about this subject.... __________________ but lemme say something as the final word.... aside from the camera option, i guess everything about 6600 better than 7600... and so i guess the same things goes for 6230 and 6600 ..i guess 6600 is a better choice but 6230 should have a better camera like 7600... (6600 wins for better screen, better / louder ring tones / using symbian system and etc.) but 7600's camera was the BEST i ever tested __________________ Were is the Pic? 6620 for the USA
 Hardly allowing time for the dust to settle after the introduction of their popular 6600 model, Nokia USA has announced the new 6620 model for the North American market. But this is no simple band switch job. While the 6620 does support both of the North American bands, 850Mhz and 1900Mhz, it gains a bit of an 'edge' over the normal 6600 - so to speak. The big improvements that the 6620 offers are the new EDGE data capability, allowing for download speeds nearly twice that of current GPRS devices, and the doubling of the internal RAM from 6MB to 12MB. There are other changes too, but most of them seem to be fairly minor even though Nokia USA says that the 6620 product has a lot of internal differences from the 6600, as the products were developed much in parallel. This is to say that the 6620 is not a simple 6600 upgrade so much as a separate product that shares many parts and design features of the 6600. One of the more technical Nokia types that was at the Launch Party in New York City told us that the CPU in the 6620 is different than that of the 6600, that it is a bit faster and more optimized. He didn't want to get into too many specifics, but he did want to stress that this was not simply a 6600 with EDGE. Other changes to the device's software can be seen, too. For instance, the still and video camera functions have been integrated into a single application. You can switch between them simply by moving left or right with the joystick. You no longer need to run a separate application for each. Real Networks has also included their Real One video player, and we saw a Red Hot Chilli Peppers video that was being streamed over AT&T's EDGE network. The video motion was quite fast. Also new are the IM and Presence apps, features that have been popping up on other recent Nokias. And speaking of popping...the new 6620 uses a pop-port connector, a first for a Series 60 handset. All in all, it looks like the North American folks will have something they can be happy about, as they actually are getting a cool leading-edge handset before the rest of the world - something that doesn't happen too often.
