Hi there guys I am very happy with my 6230 Anyone know what size limit mmc card the phone will take ? I was going to put a 128mb in but would love a 256mb ? cheers __________________ i use a 256MB mmc card for my 6230 and it works without any problems but i know someone who has tried a 512MB mmc card and he too has not come across any problem __________________ go for it,tried and tested ! fill yer boots, but dont put any mp3 files in a folder on mmc as the music player cannot see them. __________________ 512mb will be no problem with most MMC cards... some brands doens't work, need to format the MMC card first... here is a link to a list of cards that work (tested) http://www.mobile-review.com/forum2/...&threadid=9001 Mavi forum |

nokia 3100
Can anyone help me? I've just bought a nokia 3100, partly because I thought the speakerphone feature would save me having to use an earphone in the car. However, I find the volume is far too low to hear the loudspeaker whilst driving. I cannot find in the manual if there is any way to increase the loudspeaker volume, nor the call volume when in handset mode. Anyone able to point me in the right direction? Thanx __________________ during the call have you tried adjusting the volume with the direction pad by pressing up to go louder & down for softer tried that & let me know __________________ I tried that and it works, thanks very much! __________________ Can you give your two-cents worth of opinions on this model in terms of phone reception and ease of use? Anything bad about this phone? Mavi forum |

Nokia And Voadfone Join Forces To Build Australia's Second 3G Network
vodafone will spend hundreds of millions of dollars on a new mobile phone network despite conceding it barely makes sense without a partner to share costs. the british company yesterday confirmed long held speculation nokia has been awarded the contract to build australias seconds 3G mobile phone as is common practise for the company,it refused to reveal how much the network would cost to build, nor would vodafone provide details how the deal was structured. Whats Faster?
Hey all, I would like to know whats faster, USB Cable or Bluetooth? I wonna transfer mp3s to my 6230 as I have a 256MB MMC. Thanks, CH. __________________ according to me, the USB Cable is faster than Bluetooth i use the DKU-2 USB Cable to transfer mp3s to my 6230 and i also have a 256MB MMC __________________ MMC-card readers are the fastest way to move data on it, but you'll have to remove your mmc card from phone. Then comes USB cable. IR is very slow and don't think bluetooth is much faster, but easier to use (no direct link) __________________ I think that Memory Card readers are the fastest, because there is a direct connection to the card. Then: USB 2.0 480 Mbps USB 1.1 12 Mbps Bluetooth 1Mbps IrDA or IR 115Kbps I think that's the way it is... Hope it helps! __________________ Indeed USB 2 is faster then 1 but the pop-port interface can't handle that speed... i think it's limited for 250 kbs __________________ Wow.... Then it will be greatly reduced.. But still over BT, or not? Mavi forum |
