A few things about the N6100 that i would like to check....

HI guys! I have had the N6100 for almost a week now and i do have a few questions about it. 1) Talk key When in standby mode, if pressed, it only shows the calls you made. Can you set it to the calls you made AND received? 2) 4-way scroll key Currently the top and bottom direction is for number search. Can i change their functions? 3) Lets say i often use a perticualar function, like the calculator, can i set the phone somehow so that I can access it very easily, without going through all the menu's? Samsung X600 Or Nokia 6230

Wich phone is the better one? I'd say that you should consider comparing the 6230 and Sony Ericsson's K700. __________________ 6230 normally but its really bad, its the first of its kind, and its the worst of its kind. i would go for the X600 its cheaper. but there's always the nice K700 which is perfection in its class __________________ Definately the Nokis 6230..lot more functions apart from the crap image quality from the camera.. __________________ The 6230, but it's in a much higher price bracket. n-gage starting problems

Nokia 7610 screen comparable to gx20?

Hi all, I currently have the Nokia 3650. The screen is good, but recently I saw a friends sharp gx20, and I was really impressed with the screen! It was sharp and crisp, made my 3650's screen look really bad! I am planning to get the Nokia 7610 when it is released, and was wondering if anyone knew if the screen would be as clear as maybe the gx20's? i have install the driver of the infra-red port... but i cannot send or recieve anything using pc suit from my n7250i... and i have set the speed to 9600 bps already... why i cant transfer files? thanks = Mavi forum

6600 language options

hi my cousin just brought me a brand new nokia 6600 from china and its workin but the language is in chinese, i can read it but does anyone know how to change it to english? thanx alot __________________ in tools you find settings, then go to phone settings and then go to phone language... no the problem is that it's chinese so you'll have to do it by guessing; the icon of settings is a screwdiver and a wheel, click on this; then go to second line/option and click it and then click the first option, these are normaly the language settings... __________________ Unless it's changed since January but the chinese version of the 6600 does not have english menus. The phone can read and display english but the menus can't be changed to english __________________ than we have another problem... go to a nokia service center and ask if they are willing to do a software flash with language files of europe... probably you're going to pay for this... __________________ Yes, not only is having to flash the software a problem, but that officially Nokia Service Centres are not allowed to change the language pack even if they were nice enough to change it for you like they were to me you would have to pay for it since the phones warrenty is not valid outside the region in which it was sold. i was charged 25euro for the firmware upgrade, depending where you are i suggest you get an independant service centre to do the firmware upgrade like gsmphonesource.com Mavi forum
