Where can I download mp3 software for Nokia 6600?
6220 email problem
Hi all. When I enter in MENU/MESSAGES/E-mail, all the sub-menus there (Open, Details, Connect via) are displayed in light gray (inactive?). When I attempt to choose one of them the phone says "Invalid file". I've heard that this e-mail client is a Java midlet, so my understanding is that some of its files are corrupt or damaged. Does any body have an idea how to solve this problem. If possible without flashing the phone. Is there any ways to reinstall the application, only? If yes, where do I get it from? smses help!!!!
hey guys. i wanted to move my smses from my sim to my fone. so i could view them using other sims. how do i do it? i got nokia 3100. i know how to move contacts from sim to fone because it shows in the book. but how do u move the smses from the sim to the phone. __________________ just press 'option', select 'move', and then 'archive'... Your smses will stay there until you decided to erase them... __________________ so "achive" and "my folders" are where the smses are stored in the fone.... and inbox is when it is stored in sim???? i moved it to achive but i cant seem to move it back to the inbox. how do i move it back to another sim? __________________ the sim card should hold a maximum of 30 sms then the rest will be stored on the fone so if u have 50 sms in ur inbox 30 of them will be saved from the fone then the other 20 will be stored on the fone. if u put another sim card in the fone the 20 sms that were stored on the fone will still be in ur inbox my inbox can store a maximum of 184 messages and wen i put another sim card in 154 messages that i had received were still in my fone. however once u move a msg from ur inbox u cannot move it back into ur inbox. |

I am a new user to 6600...I have downloaded a few 3rd party appication to my pc(photographer, ETI camcorder, FScaller, and etc)...but I totally have no idea at all in how to install them to my phone....can anyone help?...can someone explain in step by step on how to install for me?...I am using an infrared connectivity.......please help...thanks...!! |

i know this might seem a little strange to everyone but i got a call from a NOKIA dealer saying that he was going to get the nokia 7700 by this week when i told him that it wasnt coming out till 2Q. he then confirmed and called back to tell me that its coming this week he said nokia is not officially launching the phone but he is getting it from soemone else __________________ yeah, it's possible... but most people still have to wait... one minus, if you buy a phone in a very early stage there are probably very much bug's in it.. better wait a few months __________________ ya right...another case is the Nokia 6230...it is not release yet but a lot of people already own it for quite a long time...of course those phone's software is not mature enough... __________________ a friend has a 7700 for 2 weeks now! i am bound to get one too for 800$ __________________ Is your friend happy with his 7700? I just tried the 7600, a nice pice of exuipment, but the keys.... they are a little too "deep" meaning i have to press them a lonw way in to respond, the menukey is not that good either. but apart from that a good phone. it is for sale yet? __________________ yes it is already in the market for sales...however...it is much more expensive than the 6600 just because it is a 3G phone??...it even doesn't support MMC card slot...9MB of internal memory is definitely not enough...however...its design is another surprise to the customer after the unusual design of 3300 and N-Gage...but one needs some time to get used to its buttons...its screen is not much different compare to 6600... __________________ Tu!@ng Man 7600 has 29mb built in memory. there is a big differtence in screen 7600 has only 4k stn screen compared to 6600 65k TFT __________________ Andyman really...sorry for that....but...although it has 290MB...it still doesn't support MMC card...7600 has 4k screen?...I dun think so...it has 65k screen... 3100 ringtones vibrating????
hey i know 3100 vibrates to the beat of the ringtone. but this only happens to the ones that are already installed in the fone. i downloaded new ones and it doesn't vibrate to the beat. or even light up to the beat. do i have to use pcsuite or something so it makes the new ringtones vibrate and light up to the beat??? how do i make my downloaded ringtones vibrate to the beat __________________ Yer ive noticed that too, when i got some through wap they vibrated but when i put midis from my comp to my phone they didnt:S i dunno...... __________________ ringtones i have downloaded from the internet on my fone vibrate perfectly __________________ the ringtones i downloaded do vibrate. 6600 vibration problem...
i found a problem with my 6600... when my phone is in silent mode...it will vibrate for all incoming calls...but it didn't vibrate when receive an SMS...I have checked out the setting...everything is ok...message tone is off...vibration is on.... what is going on with my phone...can anyone help?? __________________ Nokia 6600 has this problem?? Hi, i'm going to buy a new cellphone. Know im thinking about 2 phones. But i've got several questions. 1.The nokia 6600 can play mp3 but is that stereo and with what app? 2.Can the nokia 6600 play radio? 3.What accesoires do i get with the 6600 and what with the ngage? 4.Why is the n-gage so cheap? 5.Wich one should i buy, by the n-gage i get ˆ130,- free of assecoires? 6.To use pc suit, you should use a bluetooth adapter, but can you use something else? 7.How do you tranfer files to the 6600 for example Fexplorer? 8.The nokia 6600 does only transfer mms true http, does anyone know of t-mobile supports it? 9.I know it can play n-gage games, but can it also play Tombraider and red faction, and why nog? 10.Can i only use mmc or also other cards? Thx __________________ 1. the 6600 can't play anything in stereo as it doesnt have a stereo speaker. not sure what the software is called for mp3, theres quite a few. 2. it doesnt have built in radio but u can download an app which will let u stream over gprs 3. with my 6600 (european version) all i got was a 32mb MMC and pc suite on a cd. not sure what you get with n-gage 4. think the n-gage is cheap because it's sold like a quarter of what they expected it to. the price has dropped a lot in england, you can get one for £100 now, it was £240 when it was released. 5. depends what u want in a phone. pluses about n-gage are radio/mp3/supports all games but downsides are no infra red/no camera/the way you have to hold it on your head like an elephants ear to talk! 6600 has 65k colour screen as opposed to 4k for n-gage, updated version of symbian os, vga camera, more memory and is faster. but it doesnt have stereo sound, radio or built in mp3 player. 6. you can use infra red for pc suite but like i said n-gage doesnt have this. if you were going to buy an infra red or bluetooth adaptor they are both the same price if you go for the cheap ones so i would def reccomend bluetooth. 7. to transfer files either use pc suite or use infra red/bluetooth software on your pc to beam it straight to your inbox. fexplorer is an app for the phone which allows you to explore the phones memory, like windows explorer. 8. t-mobile uk supports mms so i assume any other european t-mobile would. 9. tomb raider works on my 6600 havent tried red faction 10. you can only use mmc cards, not sd or any other i've got a 6600 which cost me £345, if the n-gage had a camera i wouldve prob bought that... hope i;ve been helpful __________________ 6600 is much more powerful than N-Gage... |

Can nokia 6600 be used to type and view chinese texts?? I heard that it is impossible.... One of my dealer here told me that one drawback of 6600 was its Bluetooth technology. He told me that there is some bug or what so ever with the application which causes the bluetooth problems. But however from what I had reserve, there ain't much issue on this bluetooth, so can those of you who have 6600 please clarify? Thanks __________________ and if theres a problem with bluetooth, you can always upgrade your mobile, every mobile got his bug's so this is probably one of the 6600, but it's the first time i hear about it. __________________ i have a 6600 and a HP nx7010 notebook and have experienced no issues, also with a 3Com card. __________________ i heard that the n6600 cannot use the bluetooth headsets.... got problem with the connection.... __________________ but it functions perfectly with Sony Erricson HBH-60 headset...... __________________ Had my 6600 for a couple of weeks and tried multiple headsets etc, and no issues at all. Also some older headsets even with the right profile won't work (like older Ericsson HBH-60 versions).. I have a couple of BT headsets that don't work with 6600 (Jabra BT200, yes I know newer models supports both profile, but that's really not any help for me!).. i have install the software (x-ultramp3) which is a mp3 player, but the mp3 i have sent by using bluetooth to my phone cannot save into the mmc card.... what should i do? can anyone tell me how? thanks~! =] __________________ normaly if you are connected with bluetooth, and go to 'my computer' the MMC card of the nokia 6600 is under removable disks, if this doesn't work, install a program like nokia PC suite or 3th partie programs like mobimb or Oxygen phone manager to guide you trough sending the file. If not working both ways, use a datacable or IR, i know those above work with dc and Ir... __________________ 6600 doesn't have a data cable. Unlimited video recording with audio...
Once I was playing around with my friend's 7650...I was so shocked when I found that there is a Camcorder program in its phone which can record an unlimited length video with audio...!!! Is nokia 6230 better? or is the nokia 6600 better? I have a dilemma on whether to buy n6230 or n6600... I want to get your views on which is better.... the functions, the design, etc. But if i choose to buy n6230, I will have to wait until April.... Nokia 7250i--The best Nokia
Anybody out there that wants a good functional phone, should look no further than the Nokia 7250i. Smart, compact, stylish, function-rich it has it all. There are other phones that do specific things better (camera only4K) but overall it is the best. I have always had Nokias and the intuitive menu is still the best on the market. WELL DONE NOKIA....AGAIN __________________ i think that nokia have better devices than the 7250i, most of what you say is a fact but the 6600 and the 6230 are better i think, more functions, better screen (65K) , EDGE, etc even the 7200 has got all of this. i also think the 5130 is a great device and don't forget the 7700 qua features... But what device is the best, let's make a poll about that... We will see soon. the 7200 - 6230 - 5130 - 7700 aren't available now. It does support poly ringtones and true tones...quality is acceptable...but having true tones as ringtones is really fun...u can record any sounds or transfer .wav or .amr files and etc from pc to the phone to play...third party of mp3 software can be installed to the phone...voice quality is good enough(not stereo)... 6600 is really worth to buy...a lot of third party software is available and u can upgrate it easily...for example...Anti Mosquito, FS caller, ETI Camcorder, Photographer, and etc...of course....I am using 6600...ha...hope this can help... |

i have a nokia 3100 with the fun cam accessory. it's great and it does not hang. the only dis advantage of it is it does not have irda, blue tooth, and fm radio but it does have the zoom function, images on phonebook and xhtml browsing. please leave some comments regarding this phone and help me decide if i should replace it with samsung v200 or sony ericsson t610. __________________ hey gadget_man, 1st of all n3100 is a gr8 phone. i hav used it 4 few weeks but without da fun cam but now days it jus dosent clicksss u know. i would like 2 suggest u tht u should buy da samsung v200 or da samsung p400 they r much better den sony ericsson t610. |

In yesterdays edition of the Belgium newspaper "Het laatste nieuws" there was an articel about this phone. It stated that the 5140 would be relaesed in june. There was no price availlebel. __________________ yes, this is already conferned by multiple sources, the price target will be around 400 Euro at start but will drop after a month, the GPS cover will cost around 120 Euro and is only available in Black. I think this phone will be a major hit. __________________ This phone is great, It will interact with Polar devices (heart rate monitor, Trip computer for bike etc) giving the user acess to heart rate & calorie info etc. This can be managed by a JAVA app giving you stats etc. There is also a GPS jacket for the unit. Just picture it, you send a bus card to a friend, with all the usual details & also the lat & long for your address!! You will see this appear more with other "active" & "classic" phones. |

What is the latest software version of 3100? Mine is v.03.10 Is this version is unstable? Coz I have a problem with it.. When i press the 'go to' menu then my phone automaticaly shut off and restart again.. I have this problem about a month ago (which is 2 weeks after I bought it..!) I bring my phone to Nokia service center and got fixed it with the same software version, but now it happens again! Is this because a bug or something or I was just unlucky... __________________ I think you probably have to last version than. Nokia brings out new versions a least one every month (in the first year) so, just go back to your service center in a few weeks and tell them about your problems, they can check it out of there is a newer version. They said if i want to fix and upgrade my phone then i have to back up all my data first... But I dont have a data cable.. They said the can back up my data but they can't guarantee that all my data will be save... Installing games and tones on 7210, 6100, 6610...
Hello. Could anyone tell me how to install games, images, ringtones, etc... to phones like 7210, 6100, 6610, etc... I have the usb cable from the 3300 but if I use it on 7210 my PC does not recognise the phone. A friend of mine has a ir-adapter but the only thing he can do is install games. I just bought a new 6600 for myself...now I have a few questions about my phone...I hope that someone can help...thanks... How or where can I downoad external chinese software for 6600? How to extend the video recorder's length?....(I am not asking for the unlimited video record since it has no audio....I am searching for a software with length at least 5 minutes or longer?...and with audio) It is better to have a free download of those softwares I am searching for...wish that someone can help me and explain in details on how to download and install to my phone....thanks..!! |
