help!! free MOBIMB???

hullo...I have a nokia 3100 and I bought a data cable for 45$ but the cable does not seem to be able to work with nokia pc suite......???? now I am very worried as the shopkeeper says I can use only mobimb....that software costs around 39$ !!!! thus I will be really grateful to anyone who can provide me with free mobimb software... or links from which i can download the same??????thanks a lot....
