Is it possible to bar a number from calling a 3510i, and if possible how do you do this? i know you can do it through the network but i thought it was possible on handsets too. 6600 wav file playback problem...
I found a serious problem with my 6600...I transfer some wav files to my 6600 and stored them in MMC...those wav files are used to be my ringing and sms alert tone... Now...most of the times...when sms receive...the sms alert won't finish and will be stopped suddenly... Currently this happen when I play back those wav files by using recorder too...when the file is playing...it will stop itself automatically in the middle of the length...all the wav files that I transfer to my phone has the same problem... What is going on?...anyone experienced this??...how to solve??...is the file's problem or the phone problem??... Please help...thanks... __________________ How long are the *.wav files? Problems with Nokia 8310
My sister is having problems with her 8310. When she gets a missed call, it doesn't show up. When u goto Call Register it says Phone Book not ready. Nokia 6310i Bluetooth settings...?
Hi, have a Nokia 6310i and it seems to either have a bug or the bluetooth is broken. Whenever I try to switch BT on (Menu>Bluetooth>Bluetooth>On/Off), it does not seem to switch it on. You can highlite 'On', but when you press Select, it doesn't do a thing (no tick animation or anything). If I press 'Back' it then says Bluetooth on, but anything Bluetooth just don't work (sending a business card to another 6310i for example). Its as if the bluetooth is not switched on. Is this a bug, in the early version of the software (5.22, 15-11-02, NPL-1)? Please help... __________________ ...seems to have come back... after restart. Strange... Anyone know if you can transform a CarK91 to a CarK 126 without buying the whole set?? __________________ i don't think this is possible... they use the same speaker and microphone but thats all, the cables and some units are different... so the CarK91 is made for 5110 - 6210 - 6310 - etc (older devices) and the CarK126 is made for 3100, 3200, 6100, 6220, 6230, 6610, 6650, 6800, 6810, 6820, 7210, 7250, 7250i, 9500 Communicator or newer devices... mayby it's possible you can just change the holder and connector to your phone and use the CarK91 for your newer phone. __________________ Quote:

How to install a .sis application???
hi.. can anyone help me? How do i install an .sis application to the 6600? I bought an MMC card reader/writer and transferred the .sis file to the MMC card, but then when i switch on the phone and view the files inside the MMC card, there is no .sis file that I have just put in. So what should I do? Cheapest tri-band GSM cellphone (Nokia only)?
As the title suggests... What is the cheapest tri-band Nokia GSM phone on the market? A friend of mine may be moving here from America, and I want to get her a phone that will work both here (NZ) and in America. Don't really care about colour screen, camera, etc, but it MUST be tri-band, and obviously not CDMA. I know the 6610 is tri-band, but is there anything a little cheaper? Nokia's website doesn't let me do comparisons of whether a phone is tri-band or not... is the N6230 a good phone?
I am thinking of buying a new phone and am considering the N6230. does anyone here have experience with the N6230? If it does, it may be some bull, since i've read people've used 512MB MMC with luck... anyone have any idea?? __________________ No, at this moment nokia provides only the 64 Mb and the 128 Mb... mayby in the future or you can also use cards with the size of 512 Mb but from another brand, but they cost a lot... Probably they tested the phone with a 256 Mb card and they didn't detect any problems... __________________ hm... i've ordered 512MB with my phone, so i guess i'll be one of the first to test it... N 6600 and T9 question
Hi everyone! Here from Argentina and trying to solve this problem. I have my N6600 but surprised when I tried to switch the SMS dictionary language to Spanish. It was missing. I had several nokia models and all of them had T9 in spanish. Any idea how / where to download a spanish t9? also I would like to change symbiam laguage to spanish, but most important is the SMS dictionary... I've searched Nokia support in many countries, and read almost all forum questions but still can't find an answer. gosh.. i think the releasing of 6230 is gettin to long.. i guess when i was waiting for 6600 it was even shorter than waiting for 6230... ... anyone please post the release date in your country that u've been told... i mean since everybody heard a different release date than the other one, it would be cool to classify all dates in one post and see when it gonna be out the end... i personally will call AXUIM Dubai tomorrow morning, coz i really cannot wait anymore... and will let u know what they will tell me then... how about u? when it gonna be out in Dubai? My 6100 is one month short of a year old and starting to deteriorate fast I work at a mobile phone store and the release date of the 6230 hasn't yet been confirmed. Most likely it will be availiable beginning of april 2004. All shops that claim to have it in stock before that date are just guessing: the company I work for has 120 shops in the Netherlands and is the most important distributor of mobile phones in the counrty. Even all Nokia-stores in Holland belong to the same chain of shops. Ofcourse I tried to figure out when it will be in stock, but nobody seems to know anything for certain... When I come across new info I will post it here. Luckily I know that I will be one of the first to get this phone in Holland, but when it will be... I don't know.
