6230 and transfer speed

I've ordered the 6230, and i'll be getting it around the end of this month. What i wonder is how fast data transfer between the phone and the pc is with DKU-2 data cable? I've ordered a 512MB MMC-card for it, but i dont want to spend all day and night transfering mp3's, so i was thinking about ordering an external MMC card reader/writer too... Any thoughts about that? Also, what nokia stereo headset is the best? I was thinking about modding one of those by replasing the ear-phones with some better plugs...
