can somebody say something bad about this phone? is it worht to buy it??? __________________ the price and the keypath, althow you get used to it... it's a nice large screen (128*160) with 65K colors... the camera is a normal one (not good, not bad) the building quality is nice, the covers feel fine. it 3G capable, so good for the future. most features are good, but price value not that good... __________________ so far it is a very nice phone...unigue design...nice built quality...bigger screen...and etc... the bad points I found on it is...TOO PRICEY!!!...doesn't support MMC...and not a symbian base... nokia 8210 IR question

i want to send the text messages i have on my 8210 to my computer, how is this done? i can communicate with my comp and send files to my phone but dont know how to do it the other way i have nokia PC suite installed thanks vikash __________________ vikash Well, I guess there is such a feature in the Nokia PC Suite program. I myself use the Oxygen Phone Manager II. If you only need to load the data from your phone - trial version will be quite enough for it. 6230 hiccup

I'm waiting for this phone to be delivered and browse various forums trying to establish whether I can expect the postman to be delivering it any day.........HOWEVER.......i have just read something that I didn't really want to know. This was taken from someone's post elsewhere, read on "I live in the North East of England and my boyfriend and I are both after getting this phone and have been waiting for it for months now. After hearing a lot about today being the possible release date we went to a few phone shops today who still didnt have it. One phone shop we went into the lady said that she would ring the headquarters and find out the exact uk release date for us. When she rang she said they were in the warehouses but every single one has had to be sent back to Nokia because of a problem with the bluetooth" She rang their main man while we were waiting and started laughing once she heard him say they were due for release today but have all been sent back. She also warned us to leave it about 4 to 6 weeks as there is almost certainly going to be bugs in them that need correcting. Oh well, whether its true or not, it doesn't bode well. Has anyone else heard anything different?? __________________ I'd just wait a few weeks (or a month or so) for the first ones with upgraded software to come out. There will be bugs in brand new stuff, there normally is (just ask M$), but given time they will iron the bugs out. __________________ If this is true, I would asume you'd get a free software upgrade if you bought the phone with this bug. I wouldnt worry about it. __________________ Hello, Strange as I just got my 6230 yesterday here in Moscow. It is an offical Nokia Rus test phone and all functions work perfect. This phone is really excellent. Tested all normal functions, MP3 and MP4, streaming the lot and no worries __________________ gromit: Test if callergroups works. that seems to be a problem on som version.. and what firmware version do you have ? __________________ if the callergroups do not work just reset factory settings ... it is common bug on newer Nokias.. __________________ such a lot of features in such a small handset...it is normal for it to have some bugs...just in case the bug didn't affet the overall performance is consider acceptable... Hi i was wondering is their any java appliation for my nokia 3300 serias 40 phone so i can copy files from mmc card to internal memory tnx __________________ hey adilthedon just but the .jar files into the Application Folder and then put it in the phone and to install the applications just gota got the the application installer and it'll install it for u......... as far it is concerned for the java aaplications u can find it on many sites just gota search for it tagtag.com is a good site try it __________________ you only got 4.5 internal memory (shared with phonebook, mms, sms, etc) that seems a lot, but it's not enough for a mp3 files, the more memory used, the slower your 3300 gets... Can't download .mid files to my Nokia 3100. Help!

i'm trying to download .mid files hosted on my computer via wap to my Nokia 3100 cell phone, but i can't... is there any trick to do this? max kb? I have downloaded many pics from the same url without problems... but .mid files don't work... Any help?
