Can't download .mid files to my Nokia 3100. Help!

i'm trying to download .mid files hosted on my computer via wap to my Nokia 3100 cell phone, but i can't... is there any trick to do this? max kb? I have downloaded many pics from the same url without problems... but .mid files don't work... Any help?
