Any news on 8000 series?

Hi! I really like the design of the Nokia 8000 series of phones (8310, 8850, 8910i etc...). It has been over a year since Nokia released a phone from this range and I was just wondering if anyone knows any news on any more coming out? Anyone heard any rumours or gossip as to what Nokia will release and when they will release it? Many thanks for all your help guys, cheers! Phil __________________ they've stopped making most of the phones in the 8000 series, 8310 has now been discontinued so i'm guessing theyre now going to play around with the 7000 and 6000 series x __________________ yep 6xxx will be the main series nokia will use with 7xxx being both fashion and 3G and more advanced handsets 3xxx and below will still be used for entry level fones __________________ I'm looking forward to see the 8000 Series also, color phone in small size dimension... Just hope NOKIA would enlarge the display size (like 128 X 128 pixels) without expanding the phone length, width, and thickness... The same size as N8250 will be great... You can just call with it, and you can see some colours. Nice...........but how can that be worth 700euro? :S __________________ It is compact, has an exceptional showing off way of opening. Made out of Titanium, with bluetooth, what else do you want? I am shocked that Nokia made this phone actually. __________________ True true..........but man, 750 euro's for a "normal" phone? :S I paid 600 for a P800, but that's just a whole other balll game. I think it's just too much money for a phone, that's outdated. __________________ Well, the material that made it costs a lot... Classy phone, that is why it is only targeted to some exclusive people for stylish purposes... __________________ i dont care wat its made out of it is not worth $750 __________________ If titanium cost so much why is the price of ususal 8910 now about 300 euros?? And the color screen on 8910i is not worth 350 euros. __________________ Yep my point exactlly...... And the actuall titanium part of the phone is about 10 euro's cost price.......so expensive......not really. But plastic covers are really really cheap to make. I like the 8910i but no way I'm going to buy one for 700/750 euro's. Mavi forum
