Is the nokia 8850 is a good phone does it have polyringer piz reply __________________ Nokia 8850 was a good phone but its vastly dated now. Doesn't have polyphonic ringtones. __________________ It has been replaced last year, by the 8910, and again earlier this year by the 8910i. Their sucessor should be announced soon.. possibly with the new communicator? __________________ Successor to 8910i already? Would surprise me. Well the 8850 is exactly an 8210 with a more luxurious shell. But I still have my old 8210 for when my 6100 is on the charger and I must say it's still a very usefull phone. So yes the 8850 is still a good phone. Ok it has no camera, poly ringtones and no color display, BUT you can live without that. I know some guy who traded in his 6610 for an 8850. The 8850 is just a very cool and classy phone with everything you REALLY need. And the active-clip is a nice little extra (over the 8210) __________________ plus the 8850 has a nice 'white' screen __________________ The screen is blue actually, 8310 is white. __________________ sorry im thinking of 8855 8850 isnt blue like the 8250.its not as bright... __________________ 8850 does have white backlight screen... __________________ I think the official term for the colour is something like 'paper white' ie. not completely white. ![]() __________________ Hold a 8850 next to a 8310 and the 8850 IS blue. I mean, just check the pics on the internet. It's very clear. Now the 8250 (Asian 8210) is electric blue (very bright blue) while the 8850 is very light blue. The 8310 is purely white. __________________ The 8250 is the same as the 6510. A very nice colour. ![]() __________________ I have a 8850 right here and the backlight is white.. not as bright as that of 8310.. __________________ i want 2 sell this 8850 but i am soo less price 4 that in dirhams 200 dhs in us $ 51 shall i sell it what u people think but if some 1 xchange with me its better. i need motorola c350 4 that say what shll i do __________________ do NOT sell it for 200 dirhams, it deserves a lot more than that. The motorola c350 is still a low end phone. I know resell value for phones in the emirates is very low, its not worth selling, you might as well keep it as a secondary/backup phone.. __________________ then i shall not sell this 1 and buy moto c350 and i have 1 extra mobile siemens c28 what shall i do say me friends __________________ Quote:
Compare them side-to-side and the difference is huge! __________________ 6510 is a brilliant blue. Very deep. I had two of them ![]() __________________ keep 8850 , the production had been stopped... It is unique and rare phone ![]() __________________ but i hate this phone no fm radio no colour no voice memo this phone is just crap ![]() __________________ But if you do so , then it can't be helped , smash it instead.. __________________ 6510 is a very nice blue not as bright as the 8250. when u get a fone call at 3am in the morning on ur 8250 with a clear case on it,its not the best thing to wake up to,lol there really is a massive difference between 8250 and 6510 i compared my mates 8250 to my old 6510 and the lights on my 6510 are so much nicer than 8250 its a nicer blue not as in your face as the lights on the 8250 i believe 8855 has the same lights as 6510... am i rite??? obaidsaleem ill give u $100 AUD for it ![]() __________________ andyman what u mean by $100 aud does it mean advance relpy me __________________ i am going 2 xhange nokia 8850 with n500 its good ![]() __________________ If you really want a nice metal looking executive phone.. I think the 8855 is better.. I don't like the 8910 AT ALL.... Personally... :P __________________ i got a offer of 250 dhs shall i sell it __________________ say me __________________ Nokia 8850 is in my opinion the best looking phone ever made and I would without any doubt buy one if I didnt own one. __________________ I think the 8850 looks dated now.... Try looking at the chrome part of the 8850 around the screen... it looks old... in my opinion __________________ its sold out thank god 4 dhs 300 |
