Nokia phones explode

Hi,
Some news for Nokia users....
In my country, Vietnam, Nokia phones had exploded 3 times (models 8210, 8310 and 8250) in last month. The explosion was provoked by the battery.
The signs are: the handphones become very hot, and in fews minutes they exploded in your pocket....or in your hand.

Do U have the same problems in your countries???

NOKIA MAKE MORE THAN MORE BAD PHONE !!!!! In my opinion

in my country there aren't any problems either. but i reak an article that said that all nokia phones that exploded have been using fake batteries (not made by nokia) this might be b.s. but maybe there is a company in vietnam making faulty batteries. who knows?
saliquincer, yes i agree more and more people are starting to go againt nokia (it's almost like how people are going against microsoft (i personally like microsoft), and changing to linox insteak!!!)

As with everything else, always purchase genuine products.
I've had similar experience in buying a non-original car kit for siemens. It actually damaged my phone. When i had it repaired and replaced the car kit with original ones, i've had no problem since. These mobile companies doesn't make bad phones.
Only companies that make non-original accessories make the phone bad.

dovietttung , those phones were probably using counterfeit batteries , because there is no such a problem in my country

I sure for that....
If i remember all batteries that we found in Vietnam are made in CHINA...
Chinese battery are very cheap and sometime U counldnt make a different between a real batteries make by NOKIA CHINA and the chinese counterfeit batteries.

An Advice 4 every1, NEVER buy CHINESE batteries for any phones from any branches

Good, so the point is the cause of the explosion is counterfeit batteries, not the phone

Have we ever heard a case where Sony Ericsson, Siemens or Samsung explodes because of non branded batteries?
I think Nokia are doing this in purpose because they don't want people to buy non branded batteries that cost about $15 less than the original.

Maybe Osama works in the battery business....

i dont think that Samsung or SE have exploded phone, 'cause Samsung always the batteries in Korea, and most of SE batteries are made in Japan, so GOOD QUALITY
But NOKIA always want to reduce the cost of their fone, that why they produce their fone and batteries in CHINA...
ONE question, why NOKIA PHONES ARE STILL EXPENSIVE WHEN THEY MAKE THEIR FONE IN THE MOST LOW COST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD, CHINA....
IT'S NONSENSE. !!!!!!!!!!!!

Nokia, sell your phones under 100$ PLEASEEE and I will buy every news fones U will make !!!!!!!!....hahaha LOL

(sorry 4 my english....LOL)

I've personally never heard of anything like that happening. But only a few days ago i heard a popping sound coming from my phone, i didnt know what it was i thought it was my chair creaking and popping, then i stopped moving and it was still happening.

I then turned to my phone held it up to my ear and it was popping from the speaker! I turned it off and took the cover off, dusted it and its been fine since, i'll keep you posted if it exploeds (and if i survive)!

But yeah that's certainly something strange, hope i never experience it!

As long as you use the original battery , I believe it won't explode...

But how could u know it is a original battery....'cause more than 60% of batteries were make in CHINA...so there are always the risk that your fone will explode 2 your face.... :P

Hm.. when you buy a phone , make sure the seal is original from Nokia, the battery inside is the original one.. Don't buy any battery except at Nokia professional Centre in your country...
If you buy any battery and feel the battery heat increase abnormally , you gotta be careful , make sure it exlplodes on your A S S instead of your face...
