Hi there! I have been browsing this forum but haven't found the needed information yet. I have be selected (what an honor) from Clubnokia Austria to test their 6820. As far as I found out, it has the series 40 Nokia operating system just like the 6230, but I have serious troubles getting used to the menu funtions ![]() ![]() It takes ages to see the curor moving, changing from one menu into the other (well actually if course it takes fractions of a second, but far to long to really work quickly)! So please tell me, is this due to the series 40 operating system (compared to the series 30 OS of the 6310i, also the symbian 6 is lightning fast) or is it the inferior passivmatrix display ![]() many thank, Christoph __________________ no, the 6820 is just slow. some phones are just slow. 6230 has been said to be really fast though __________________ The 6310i is (was) a very good phone, but times goes further, if you want a bussiness phone the 6820 is a good phone, slow or not. Most of the time you'll have no problem with the delay's. the 6230 off course is just a little better, more functions, more speed... __________________ ya right...6820 is running under old CPU.... 6230 CPU will be much more faster and faster....dun worry... __________________ I have been running with my 6230 for a week now, and have had no problem with time-lag in menu changes or other menu functions. It is not any slower than any of my previous Nokias (7210, 6310i, 8890, etc, etc.). __________________ once again...no need to worry about the speed __________________ Ok, many thanks, that helps a lot!
