Review : Nokia 2300 (incl. live pics)

During my last visit to dubai (last month) i instantly feel in love with Nokia 2300 ... although there was no importance to buy 2300, but i thought its a very cool phone to have, specially when i wanna go to swimming pool and places like that, 2300 will be a very good partner for me in those places, so i decided to buy a 2300 ... Let me tell you that its a very very nice phone to have, if u dont wanna have a colour display and camera in your mobile phone, so 2300 is a very solid answer for you, and if u would like to have a reasonable phone as your second phone, then 2300 is a very decent good solution too... ... i also decided to buy 2300 as my second phone, so i went to AXUIM and bought a 2300 ***REIVEW : Now, let me introduce you Nokia 2300 to you : 01 Design : well, its another nokia classic, it directly followed the same pattern that u already saw in models like 2100, 8210 & 8250 but indeed its been Re-Styled to look more updated, so if u like nokia's classic style, you gonna like this one too, different x-press covers are also available to buy and it lets u to costumize your phone with your taste, i should have say all x-press covers are made with high quality plastic material, and the colour of x-press covers are indeed unique and fresh. 02 Keypad : the keypad of 2300 is a very strong factor to consider, the 4way-navi key makes u feel easier to browse the phone, (in addition this 4 navi-key wasnt avaiable in previous nokia phones in this class), and the Butterfly-shaped keypad is another stylish factor in this phone, although you may think the butterfly-shaped keypad might be hard to use, but i have to say its really really easy and fun to use, the surface of the keypad is made of shiney plastic material which looks great and in addition its really pleasent to touch... so your fingers are in a very good rest while your are messaging with the phone, and the speed of typing is also very fast and u totally gonna have no problems for fast messaging. 03 Display : the 2300's display is coloured in light pastel-blue which is really beauitful and in addition it wont harm your eyes if u even watch it for long duration, the display can be seen in all lighting conditions and the font size of the display is decent to read. 04 Ringtones : nokia decided to use polyphonic ringtones for 2300, i gotta tell u to dont expect a quality tone from this phone, but the tones are nice in thier own way, and the best thing is they are pretty loud and u aint gonna miss them even in the noisy areas... which is a very good factor. 05 Messages : as another update, nokia made the space for holding 50 sms messages in your inbox section, this amount for holding sms messages in the inbox is really reasoable for a phone in this class, so you dont need to worry to clean your inbox that fast. 06 Bulit-In Radio : an option which can be great for the ppl who would like to listen to radio from thier mobiles when they are out of thier home. 07 Reception : the antenna reception is just great as other nokia phones, and its working really good. 08 Battery Life / Charging : hey! its one of the best features in 2300! ... its battery life is one of the best that i ever checked, under a normal use, u gonna see even non of the battery indicator bars gonna vanish, so at the end of the 2nd day you still see the battery indicator at its full situation, so it means u can be sure it even doesnt need to be charged even till the end of 3rd day, the charging process in just very fast, which takes less than 1.30 hours to be fully charged. 09 Games : snake 2, space impact + & opposite are the 3 bulit in games that provided in 2300, although they are not new games, but still u can play with them and enjoy them... *** well, this is the review of 2300, at the end i would like to repeat that its a great phone for the people who would like to have a phone without colour display and camera options, and also its very good solution for the people who are looking to buy a phone as thier second mobile, and i personally think it will be another winner for nokia, because it has some decent features and also it comes at a very reasonable price, so as the result, many people will buy this phone __________________ wat is wrong with you, are u blinded by its atrociously ugly lks? or absolutely hideous buttons? or repitive shape? i wouldnt clean my behind with that phone... __________________ Quote: Originally posted by bronco wat is wrong with you, are u blinded by its atrociously ugly lks? or absolutely hideous buttons? or repitive shape? i wouldnt clean my behind with that phone... thank u very much for your intresting opinion! its such a wonderful experience to read such brilliant messages in this forum!
