hey is there big difference between 4096 and 65 k colour? i mean does anyone have a site that shows the pics of both. i wanna see both compared. i'd rather go for 65k colour if there is a big difference. but may go for 4096 colour if not big differemn. will pics of faces be clear on a 4096? by the way. which is the cheapest 65k colour phone?? has to be either samsumg, nokia, sonyericsson __________________ yes ... foresure ! but maybe not so much difference between 65k and 260k ! http://www.mobileburn.com/gallery.jsp?Page=4&Id=516 __________________ well, you can imagine that 4096 can have way less smooth color transitions and less smooth anti-aliasing as 65.000 colors. I myself find 4096 colors enough to have a nice display. I mean do you really want menu's in 65k? 4096 does the job. It's only in games (well and if you use your phone as a camera/video capturing device) that 65K truelly stand out. For me using a Nokia 6100 for calling and a simple, yet highly adictive game of Hearts, 4096 is more than enough. __________________ Quote:
![]() its like a Alba 14" TV & a Sony 49" widescreen plasma screen!!! ![]() __________________ e700 Nice comparison there ![]() __________________ Quote:
![]() __________________ or maybe a 49'' plasma screen to a 24'' LCD screen??? lol __________________ Compare 800X600X16bit with 1024X968X32bit,then U will see the difference! __________________ Quote:
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() __________________ There is a big difference from what i've seen, the early colour screen Nokias have pretty crap screens compared to new 65K screens. But no images you find on the internet will show the difference properly, if you want to really see the difference, go to a phone shop and have a sales rep show you the two side by side, and you'll see a massive difference! __________________ You never think about to buy a phone by 4096 clours screen when you have seen phone by 65k screen __________________ Of course there are big differences between 4096 and 65k colour display but it all depends on the resolution. Nokia use to have 128x128 pixel display which means it can display 16384 colours at the same time if you have different colours per pixel. So it is easy to figure it out how big the differences are between 4096 and 65k. Not even 4096 colours is enough for many of handsets from Nokia. __________________ I dun think so....I have compared a 4096 and 65k colour screen at the same time....actually there are not much different between 4096 and 65k colour(65k may only sharper a bit)....the quality of a picture viewed on the screen is depends on the screen's resolution(176x208 will be clearer than 128x128) and the technology using(TFT must be better than STN)...this is my experience.... __________________ Quote:
