new features are introduced, some are intresting, some are crap for the others.. just wanna know what feature do YOU wanna have in your next nokia or mobile phone? and mayby why. (just took 9 promessing features) __________________ Well... having one very good feature but everything else terrible is no use too right?... Like 7250i has good memory, but everything else brings it down against the T610.... (Can be argued, but won't get into it, majority choses T610-phone of the year) So for me would be, bluetooth, nice screen, rich media mms would be good =P... megapixel camera would be nice too.. hehe... you know what i mean... __________________ a 262k screen would be very good __________________ All of those features would be great to see more common in mobile phones, alot of those features are already available in selected phones. __________________ Megapixel camera, big 265K screen and Large MMC or SD cards are my choices.... __________________ Hehe... In a phone... You won't get decent digital camera with the phone anyway. Phone should be capable of taking pictures it can send via MMS ... and fit / look good on small phone display. More megapixels requires bigger memory cards to store images and generally make camera app slower. Well, some people seem to believe they have a real digital camera in the phone... Yeah, go shoot some icons. BTW, what is that gradient you are going to dither? Wallpaper? Good wallpaper is always optimised for target screen size and resolution, otherwise it sucks anyway. Camera output? I really doubt that currently embedded CCDs can handle 8bits/channel, it's all interpolated anyway so... Perceptional quality is the only thing that matters... Camera in the phone is not good to print anything, whether it has 1Mpix or less. Windows desktop is not a good comparison because of the screen size. Properly indexed wallpaper does not require full 24bit color and looks just fine with less. You won't run Photoshop on the phone. There is noticable difference between 4K and 64K, but is not that visible between 64K and 262K.
