Hi, My sister has the Nokia 3200. She wants to use the ten templates they provided in the box to print pictures. Problem is...Nokia's flimsy manual barely said anything about DIRECTLY where to download it. I went to their site Nokia.com/us as the manual said, but nothing. Can one of you help me finding it? Is it free by the way? I'd like a direct source. We just want to print on the templates as surely your regular printer cannot align it properly, only the software can? P.S. If there is an alternative, please recommend also. Thanks. __________________ go to http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,8764,65,00.html click then on 'hot designs for Nokia 3200 phone' just print it out on a regular peace of paper... and cut it __________________ Ok thanks. But can't I get it on the template paper they gave me? __________________ . What is the size of the blank pre-perforated covers and how do I print on them? The blank pre-perforated covers are 10 x 14,8mm sized (4 x 6 inches) size and include front and back sides. For printing on the 10 x 14,8mm sized (4 x 6 inches) sheets, you could follow these steps: Step 1: Choose one image that expresses your personal style: The images could be around a theme, such as a favourite music group, sport, or graphic. For a good quality print, the images should be suitable for printing with a laser or ink printer. Step 2: Test the image print quality and set-up: The PC Suite for the Nokia 3200 phone includes a set-up option to test printing. Please note: Do not use the pre-perforated inbox covers until after performing test with regular printing paper. Step 3: Insert one of the pre-perforated blank covers in the printer: Match the blank covers with the chosen images. Make sure that the printer side is correct, test again on normal printing paper to be sure. Step 4: Extract the cover from the pre-perforated holes: Carefully take the covers out from the sheet. Note: You can also attach the blank cover sheet to an A4 sized paper to ease the printer size adjustments by taping in to the A4 sheet this is from it FAQ page of Nokia.com __________________ and if you want to print them on 'normal' paper, for own cutout use this kind of paper Note: Use only normal, plain paper used in standard printers (weight 60-135 g/m2) that is no thicker than 0,3 mm. Colours or ink used in the paper must not contain metal particles. Please note, however, that the paper used to create Cut-out covers with the cutter must not be thicker than 0,1 mm. __________________ Ok thanks again. However, I do not know how to properly align the photos for regualr printing. Plus, it would be very tedious to cut out from regular paper. I tried using the templates with the site given above, but it doesn't work right? I will try again sizing the paper as you said? But I tried measuring it in mm and I placed it alone in my printer. The printer merely minimzed the cover picture (from the website) and printed it wrong. Where can I get the PC Suite? I think this is a foolish feature if Nokia doesn't help with it properly. P.S Try printing one from the website given above on the Nokia site. Try using the template also. Tell me if any better. Mavi forum |
