some truths about nokia's current models

heylo all . this week i got to test alot of phones . let me see if i can help u out with some pros. and cons. of all the phones i used . any questions u have , dont hesitate to ask me off . 7200 ( 570$ ) the first flap phone by nokia . and O boy wat a useless one . 1) the screen is to small for camera . pic looks good when u take a zoom mode otherwise its all crampped up in the small screen 2) textile covers feel nice but get dirty soon . u get only one cover with the pack . i wished i could had got 3/4 covers for the price i paid ! 3) this phone is slow! unlike the nokia phones . this phone reminds me of SEt610 4) keypads r stiff u have to use a little power to click them . 5) quality built is not good at all! . in the dark i can seel ight coming out from the casing . specially on the sides of the screen . 6) ring tones are soft . i guess 7250 was louder then this phone . 7) only 4 m.b memory!!! wat was nokia thinking man!!!!! 8) no bluetooth , dual band , 570$ :S 8) vedio is 50 secs . 6230 (500$) 1) the back cover is realli loose its shakes and squicks 2) there is no way to add in movies inside the memory card directly (well there is if u have a card reader) otherwise from the pc suite there aint 3) there used the older handsfree (7250) which isnt quiet good looking . i like the new one (7200) (7600) 4) the keppads are just gr8! so is the speaker ! 5) the screen is nice but again pics look very cramped up when u see the pics but when u zoom it in , the screens a beauty! 6) radio works gr8 7) vedio is 4 mins . SE P900 (740$) 1) speaker is gr8! just gr8!! 2) no much improved on the camera . i wish they would had used the whole screen as the view finder like the sx1 tht would b kool 3) 4 mins recording 4) the screens nice! sharp colours . 5) the phone is just like t68 / t68i just physical upgrade and a few internal things . its nothing totally new then the p800 . but cost allmost double the price well these were the phones i used this week and these are the points which i thought were weak / strong in tht phone . __________________ "the phone is just like t68 / t68i just physical upgrade and a few internal things . its nothing totally new then the p800 . but cost allmost double the price " The P900 can record unlimit. Second processor. 1)by default it can record unlimit? r u sure . cause i dont think so . 2) more memory is not an issue here u can alwaz get more memory if u add in a 256 card . 3) design i told u is wat is changed 4) better mp3 ? . ummm i think its the same nothing better mayb u feel cause of the better speaker 5) my p800 never hanged nor did p900 so this is no issue for me 6) speed has improved tho. for sure! __________________ About the mmc in 6230, it gets fixed when you give it a name... read some of the other forums if you need more details __________________ about the 6230: small screen and alot of bugs, 6230i to lauch arround X-mas new problems when looking at the reviews: bad buttons, bugs that won't be fixed very high price. while it was estimated at 300euro! __________________ bart Bugs will get fixed, but they always wait a month/2 months to bring out a new software version, unless there are very important bugs. The buttons as i know works just fine... we all know you don't like Nokia, but please if not, don't talk bullshit, will you? __________________ lots of bugs? well guess it has a few but most of them can be solved (eg. caller groups - reset. mmc access bluetooth - give a name. etc). and please, where the hell did you get 6230i from? i agree...don't talk bullshit... bugs that won't be fixed? is this an assumption? very high price? well whaddya expect from a phone that has mp3 player stereo, stereo FM, camera, mmc slot, 65k screen and just about everything that anybody right now would need? as a matter of fact i think the price is VERY reasonable relatively. How the hell is it a "very high price."? __________________ enerlevel thank you for posting... now i don't regret not getting 7200 =P sounds crap but 6230 if you stick a tissue at the back inthe cover does the "squeaking" stop? __________________ yea u r right but it just doesnt look or feel good stuffing somthing in the back cover speacially when u paid so much to get a "new" phone . one more thing about the 6230 is tht they should have had added a way to listen to the radio without attaching the headphones . and also there should had been a way to record song off the radio just like the n-gage and 3300 could do. thnx for telling me about the mmc renaming thing and caller groups . i realli didnt know tht these problems could b solved ... once again thanx for telling __________________ is p800 better than p900 everyway? about money, screen, memory. i know p900 is the best but p800 is cheaper than it __________________ m?lih P900 is newer than P800... __________________ enerlevel, great review on the 7200. You didn't miss much. Rumors confirm what you write. I can't comment on the other two reviews as I've not seen the phones myself. I'm curious to see if Nokia can do some volume on the 7200. Their marketing dept is working overtime hawking this any way they can. It will take one hell of a marketing campaign to sell this doggy. I have an idea, how about we slap some furry covers on it and try to sell some wacky color versions as "Limited Editions" ?? :-) __________________ the main difference between the p800 and the p900 is 1) shape 2) colour screen 3) speaker the shape is certainly improved than the p800 . it is not smaller and really nice looking . the colour screen is tht best i have seen . it shows the wallpapers and the pics with realli good and sharp images. however the screen fails to diliver on vedio mode . speaker is realli loud and clear . the best speaker i have seen . but then again , the speaker mode is still soft .
