Hi, Does anyone know what SIM Clock Stopping does?? ![]() And what is it used for? And how do i stop the sim clock om my nokia 3510? Thanks Toxic_B __________________ that is a feature depending on your SIM card, with some it's not possible. Newer SIMs have a feature called 'clock stopping' that allows the phone to save energy -- it is a kind of sleep mode for SIM cards. Not all versions of software support this. You cannot turn the SIM clock on and off, the phone will do it automatically if the SIM supports clock stopping. some say it's a hoax for having free call's but it's not!!! __________________ and you can enable it with this code SIM Clock Stop *#746025625# __________________ kristof.vanriet if i use this code on my phone .will it damged my sim or mobile will anything happen __________________ your sim clock will stop on certain moments when you are in stand-by, if you make a call, your simclock will run again. No sim will be damaged, most sims these day's come with simclock stop standard... but anyway, i'm going to say this sentence, use it at own risk... ![]() __________________ I dont want to loose my sim __________________ The Sim Clock stop code is just for you to check wheter your sim supports it or not, just like *#06/0000#. It will not damage your SIM. __________________ it wont damaage ur fone or sim but theres not really much point in having this feature its basically useless __________________ not working for me on alctel 535 and nokia 3310 __________________ ... very interesting indeed! __________________ normaly you get a message, sim clock stop allowed, nothing more than that, once activated, nothing anymore... with *#92702689# you can check if it's activated, or so i think Mavi forum |
