anyone can tell me which one does N-gaga QD support? stereo or mono? cos i read some reviews on N-gage QD that it does support stereo.... but if not wrong, when the 1st time it's announced, the spec said that it supported mono only... __________________ good question, i couldn't found out... i've read it comes with a mono headset, but i doesn't really support music (radio and mp3) althow you can play mp3 files with additional software... so i don't know __________________ MONO, there will be no MP3 player in the QD! MR __________________ Mp3 will be suported with alternative programs __________________ no, but you get a cd with the N-gage QD with programs like RealOne, and those can play mp3 __________________ and what i said man? alternative programs means programs not built in... tsc.... ![]() __________________ RealOne on Series60 doesn't read MP3. __________________ so it comes with mono speakers? __________________ i think it will have stereo as it is a gaming device all the game sounds should have stereo output.... thats what i feel __________________ hmmm... hope it realli come out a stereo output... __________________ Quote:
Wrong assumption again - if it does not recognise mp3 on 6600 it does not mean RealOne can not do that at all. What do you think plays mp3 ringtones? Third-party app? ![]() Why don't you try it on your 7610? It IS Series60 BTW __________________ Dude, on the N-Gage, its not Realone that reads the MP3s, it's just another application created by Nokia, exactly like the 7610... __________________ http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,55010,00.html#4 4. Is there a music player in the Nokia 7610 phone? Yes, it includes RealPlayer, which supports MP3 and AAC music files. For 7610 it is RealOne that plays mp3. Try it __________________ i tried my n6600.... it can't play... ![]() __________________ Quote:
I mentioned already that it is not RealOne to blame, it has been always capable of playing mp3s, but in 6600 it is deliberately done so that phone does not recognize mp3 format. __________________ oic.... i know that n6600 cannot support mp3 ringtone... __________________ [-] No stereo, no camera [+] MMC hot-swap, new battery phone is still there ![]() __________________ Yeah, i'll pay myself an Ngage QD to steal the battery onto my 7610, lol. Buying the battery will cost more lol! It's expected to be for 99 euros here on my operator with a 6 months renewal pack, so ![]() __________________ Quote:

Completely agree that it would be nice to have strereo as well, concidering that majority of potential buyers really expect it... but it is not there ... maybe time/budget constraints __________________ If it wont be stereo, this WILL suck. MP3 will sound bad. I cannot use the phone normally as it always hangs and crashes. I doubt they will have stable firmware by the time this thing is supposed to be out. Got version update that is worse than what i had... i took out the 6600 from the drawer today! this thing is unusable.. V 3.041.2 27-03-04 RH-51 __________________ Quote:
Anyway that is too old either. Taking into account your old HW, questionable image source (it could be crippled) and methods of flashing - I don't think it tells anything about quality of a final product. If it won't be stable enough - it won't be released and ... actually it IS stable and very much usable now. Mavi forum |
